THE CURE

Friend,  

I want to share a simple message with you concerning The Cure.  Each one of us is born into this world with a sickness within us.  I’m not speaking of a natural, physical sickness but I’m speaking of a spiritual sickness within the heart of man. The Bible calls this sickness in the heart of man sin.  Sin is man’s inability to keep God’s holy commandments. According to 1 John 3:4 “Sin is the transgression of the law.” Yes, humans lie, steal, lust, murder, etc., because of this sickness within us that God calls sin. The Bible also reveals the effect that this sin sickness has upon our relationship with God, Isaiah 59:2 declares, “Your iniquities have separated between you and your God…”  And again, “The wages of sin is death…” Rom. 6:23. Yes friend, because of sin we are separated from fellowship with God and in a state of spiritual death. 

And unless we find The Cure for this spiritual disease before we die, we will be eternally separated from God in hell.  Rev 21:8 declares, “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.  And no one is excluded, for the Bible clearly reveals in Rom. 3:23 that “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”  

Yes friend it is clearly revealed that we are afflicted with sin as a spiritual sickness but don’t despair, God loves us and wants us to be healed and obtain a loving relationship with Him.  The Bible reveals Gods love for us sinful creatures in John 3:16 where it states, “For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” You see, God sent his Son into the world to bear the sins of every person and suffer the penalty of death upon the cross for every person.  Isaiah 53:5 states, “He was wounded for our transgressions.  He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.”   This is the GOOD NEWS!  Jesus Christ is The Cure for our sin sickness!! Romans 4:25 states, “He was delivered for our offenses and was raised again for our justification.”    We no longer have to be afflicted with sin and remain separated from God because The Cure has been revealed! Do you want to be healed of this sickness called sin?  Do you want to be restored to spiritual health? Simply believe the Good News and you will be HEALED!    

Prayer: “Father I repent and believe the Good News concerning the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ your Son in my heart.  I confess that I am a sinner and ask you to forgive me and cleanse me of my sins!”  The bible declares, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God raised Him from the dead thou shalt be saved”   Romans 10:8-9       If you have repented and believed this message from God and have asked God to forgive you and have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you are saved!  In obedience to the Lord’s command you should now be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. We strongly suggest that you ask God to lead you to a Christian Church that teaches the doctrine of Jesus Christ so that you can grow stronger in your new faith in God thru Jesus Christ his Son.
